I had the pleasure of leading a project over a term for the Prism Arts Studio Arts programme.
The British Folklore project has examined the varied rich history of myths, tales and traditions originating from the British Isles, with participant artists studying stories and vibrant visual imagery, synthesising their original perspectives and creative styles in a wide variety of mediums.
Prism Arts is an organisation that has for over 30 years been developing and delivering arts projects that are accessible to all, principally working with people who have additional learning needs. The Studio Arts programme revolves around cultivating individual's visual arts practise, from initial idea generation to final exhibiting.
The exhibition currently resides with Carlisle's City Council archive building.
